Day 1: Shimla: Arrival & Sightseeing
Reach Delhi or Chandigarh and begin your scenic drive to Shimla. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a relaxed evening strolling along Mall Road, The Ridge, and Christ Church. The colonial architecture and cool mountain air set the perfect tone for your holiday. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 2: Shimla: Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, head to Kufri, famous for its sweeping Himalayan views and open meadows. Enjoy pony rides, walk through the pine forests, and visit the Himalayan Nature Park. Return to Shimla to explore Jakhoo Temple, Scandal Point, and the lively town streets. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 3: Shimla - Manali
Begin your journey to Manali after breakfast. Drive past Sundernagar Lake, Mandi town, and the captivating Kullu Valley. Stop at a Kullu shawl unit to witness local weaving traditions. Follow the Beas River upstream until you reach Manali by evening. Check in and unwind. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 4: Manali: Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the iconic Hadimba Temple surrounded by cedar forests, followed by Vashisht Hot Springs and the Tibetan Monastery. Wander through Old Manali’s bohemian cafés and charming lanes. Spend a relaxed evening on Mall Road before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 5: Manali: Solang Valley / Atal Tunnel
Today is all about adventure and scenery. Visit Solang Valley for seasonal activities such as paragliding, ATV rides, or skiing. Continue through the Atal Tunnel to marvel at dramatic mountain landscapes. If road conditions allow, visit Sissu or Rohtang Pass for breathtaking views. Return to Manali in the evening. Day 6: Manali - Dharamshala
After breakfast, drive toward Dharamshala through forested routes and picturesque valleys. On arrival, check in and spend the evening at leisure. If time permits, visit the Dalai Lama Temple or explore local cafés and markets. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Day 7: Dharamshala - Dalhousie
Start the day by visiting Bhagsunag Temple, Bhagsu Waterfall, and St. John in the Wilderness Church. Later, proceed to Dalhousie, passing through charming tea gardens and cozy mountain hamlets. Upon arrival, settle in and enjoy an evening walk along Mall Road. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 8: Dalhousie - Khajjiar
After breakfast, head to Khajjiar, fondly known as India’s Mini Switzerland. Its expansive meadow, cedar forests, and tranquil lake create a postcard-like setting. Visit Khajji Nag Temple and enjoy optional activities such as horse riding or zorbing. Stop by Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary on your way back. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 9: Dalhousie - Amritsar
Check out after breakfast and drive to Amritsar. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring the local streets of the holy city. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 9: Amritsar: Departure
Begin your day with a serene visit to the Golden Temple, glowing beautifully in the morning light. Explore Jallianwala Bagh and shop for traditional items at Hall Bazaar. Later, proceed to Delhi or Chandigarh for your onward journey, carrying cherished memories of Himachal’s mountains and Amritsar’s spiritual radiance.
