A Journey Designed for Unforgettable Memories
Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar
Arrive in Delhi and begin your drive to Haridwar, a sacred town where pilgrims gather on the banks of the Ganga. After checking in, spend your evening at leisure or witness the devotional aarti at one of the city’s riverside ghats.
Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot
After breakfast, drive toward Barkot through Mussoorie’s hills and the cool forests of the Doon region. Pause at viewpoints or waterfalls before continuing your onward journey. Reach Barkot by evening and rest amid the tranquil mountain surroundings.
Overnight in Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
After an early breakfast, proceed to Jankichatti — the base point for the Yamunotri trek. Walk or hire a pony/palanquin to reach the sacred temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Offer prayers at the shrine and feel the warmth of the natural hot springs. Return to Barkot by evening.
Overnight in Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi
After breakfast, travel to Uttarkashi, a peaceful town set along the Bhagirathi River. Visit local temples or stroll through the quiet bazaars before relaxing at your hotel.
Overnight in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Leave early for a scenic drive to Gangotri. The route passes through pine forests, apple valleys, and mountain streams. At Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, offer prayers and soak in the divine atmosphere beside the roaring Bhagirathi River. Spend some time exploring the surroundings before returning to Uttarkashi.
Overnight in Uttarkashi.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Harsil
After breakfast, begin your drive toward Chamba. En route, stop at Harsil, a beautiful valley known for its deodar trees and peaceful riverside views. Continue your journey through winding mountain roads and reach Chamba by evening.
Overnight in Chamba.
Day 7: Harsil – Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive toward Rishikesh, a spiritual town surrounded by Himalayan foothills. Visit iconic spots such as Laxman Jhula or explore the riverfront cafés and ghats. Enjoy a calm evening before your return journey.
Overnight in Rishikesh.
Day 8: Rishikesh: Departure
After breakfast, begin your drive back to Delhi with blessings from both the Yamuna and Ganga, carrying memories of a peaceful and spiritually uplifting Himalayan pilgrimage.
