    Day 1: Shimla: Arrival & Sightseeing
    Arrive in Delhi or Chandigarh and begin your journey into the hills with a scenic drive to Shimla. Check in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, explore Mall Road, The Ridge, and Christ Church, soaking in the refreshing mountain air and colonial ambience. Overnight stay in Shimla.
    After breakfast, set off for Sangla, one of Kinnaur’s lush and picturesque valleys. Pass Kufri, Narkanda, and Rampur, witnessing apple orchards and snow-lined ridges along the journey. Reach Sangla by evening and settle into your stay amid pine forests and the gentle Baspa River. Overnight stay in Sangla.
    After breakfast, visit Chitkul — the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Wander through its traditional wooden homes, enjoy serene walks by the Baspa River, and admire the sweeping Himalayan views. Return to Sangla for a relaxed evening surrounded by nature. Overnight stay in Sangla.
    Today marks your entry into Spiti’s high-altitude desert. Stop at Nako, a quiet lakeside village perched at 12,000 ft. Continue to Giu, known for the intriguing naturally preserved mummy of a monk. Arrive in Tabo by evening and visit its centuries-old monastery, renowned for ancient murals and spiritual significance. Overnight stay in Tabo.
    After breakfast, drive to Dhankar Monastery, dramatically situated on a cliff with breathtaking views of the river confluence below. Continue onward to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley. Check in and spend your evening exploring the quiet streets and mountain surroundings. Overnight stay in Kaza.
    Begin your full-day Spiti exploration after breakfast. Visit Key Monastery, a stunning hilltop gompa with panoramic views. Continue to Chicham Bridge — among the highest suspension bridges in Asia — and proceed to Kibber, known for its stone houses and high-altitude landscape. End your day at Langza, home to a giant Buddha statue and fossil-rich slopes. Overnight stay in Kaza.
    Visit some of the world’s highest motorable villages today. Start with Komic, then drive to Hikkim to post a letter from one of the world’s highest post offices. Return to Kaza by afternoon and spend your evening browsing local markets for souvenirs and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Kaza.
    Start early for your return journey into Kinnaur. Drive past the dramatic Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Sutlej Rivers meet. By evening, reach Kalpa — a charming village known for its apple orchards and majestic views of the Kinner Kailash range. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
    Wake up to a magical sunrise over the Kinner Kailash peaks. After breakfast, begin your drive back to Shimla through Reckong Peo and Rampur. Arrive by evening and enjoy a relaxed final night in the hills. Overnight stay in Shimla.
    After breakfast, check out and drive back to Delhi or Chandigarh. Leave with unforgettable memories of shifting landscapes, ancient monasteries, and the raw beauty of Spiti and Kinnaur — a true Himalayan odyssey.
